REAL ESTATE: Pine Street strip mall sells for $1.9M

Clark County real estate transactions recorded Aug. 15-26 having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk and Data Scout. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price, property description when available, and mortgage information, and does not withhold names of individuals or businesses.

A 2,082 SF home at North Park Drive sold to Ravuth Em, Hour Veng and Paosim Ly for $295,000. The Aug. 9 transaction was made by warranty deed. The previous owners were Charles and Swati Bradley, who purchased the home in August 2021 for $234,000. There was no mortgage information available on the recent sale.

Dustin Pope and Michaela McSwain bought a 2,014 SF home on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia for $260,000 on Aug. 11 by warranty deed. The transaction was financed by a mortgage of $255,290 from American Financial Network. The previous owners were Jay and Lisa Spinks and Derrick and Deanne Ross, who bought the home in September 2021 for $89,000.

Christopher and Charlotte Watson of Sunnyvale, Texas, purchased nine lots of the Richey subdivision, which includes vacant parcels north of and adjacent to Logan Street, east of North 20th Street. Purchased from BHD Rentals LLC, the Aug. 12 transaction was made by warranty deed and is being financed by a $112,000 mortgage through Bank of Delight.

The Watsons, via their Watson Elite Investment Group, sold a 1,290 SF home on the 1600 block of Logan Street in Arkadelphia to Landon Ervin for $170,000. The Aug. 12 transaction was made by warranty deed and is being financed by a $166,920 mortgage through Everett Financial and Supreme Lending.

David and Angela Suttle purchased a home and several acres on McCallum Road in the DeGray community. The $639,400 sale happened on Aug. 12 by warranty deed and included a 2,758 SF home on 36 acres of mixed timber and pasture. The transaction is being financed by a mortgage of $474,400 through USAA Federal Savings Bank. The previous owners were Keli and Mathew Hall.

Jonathan and Linda Cromer purchased a home and acreage on Shiloh Road in the Shiloh community. The $235,000 sale happened on Aug. 15 by warranty deed and included a 3,757 SF home on 5 acres of mixed timber and pasture. The transaction is being financed by a mortgage of $204,008 through Rocket Mortgage LLC. The previous owner was Mary Freeman.

Timothy McGarry purchased a home and acreage on Copeland Ridge Road on Aug. 16 by warranty deed. The $198,000 sale happened on Aug. 16 by warranty deed and included a 1,344 SF home on 15 acres of pasture. The transaction is being financed by a mortgage of $200,000 through US Bank National Association. The property last changed hands in 2020 when Julie and Alex Winfrey purchased the property by way of quit claim deed.

A home on the 1400 block of Wilson Street in Arkadelphia sold for $259,000 to Eric and Samantha White. The Aug. 12 warranty deed transaction is being financed by a mortgage of $264,957 through Mortgage Research Center and Veterans United Home Loans. The 3,180 SF home was previously owned by Ralph and Shirley Olson.

A strip mall at 2708 Pine St. in Arkadelphia exchanged hands on Aug. 16. The 8,824 SF space is leased to Baskin Robbins, Dunkin Donuts, Little Caesars, Tobacco Superstore and Y-Y Nails Spa. The new owners are the Memphis-based AJ RE LLC, which purchased the lot for $1,950,000. No mortgage information was available. The previous owner was Ark-MC Delph LLC of Little Rock.

Bob and Janet Tackett purchased a 2,211 SF home on the 2000 block of Northridge in Arkadelphia. The $254,200 sale happened on Aug. 18 by warranty deed. There was no mortgage information available. The previous owners were Kenneth and Kathy Ingram, who purchased the home in 2004 for $187,000.

A 2,518 SF home and adjacent lot on Martha Court in Gurdon sold to Brandon and Amanda Harper for $160,000. The Aug. 18 warranty deed transaction is being financed by a $200,000 mortgage from Southern Bancorp. The previous owners were Mark and Kim King.

Forty acres, mostly timberland, near Darby Road in the Manchester community sold to the Allen and Frances Morgan Joint Revocable Trust for $149,000. James McCaskill was the previous owner.

A home and vacant adjacent lot on the 1000 block of South 15th Street in Arkadelphia sold for $120,000. Boaz Tjhin and Julanty Mitchell, of Little Rock, purchased the 1,374 SF home from Liberty Land Co. LLC. There was no mortgage information available.

A pair of mini storage units on Highway 67 in Gurdon sold for $250,000 by warranty deed. Highway 67 Self Storage of Gurdon LLC purchased the units totaling 6,000 SF on Aug. 22. The transaction is being financed by a mortgage of $200,000 through GW Rentals LLC, the grantor in the transaction.
