The virtual meeting on Sept. 8 will be held via Zoom conferencing software and will feature talks on the basic science of CWD, the South Arkansas response in 2021-2022 and what hunters can do to help fight this disease in Arkansas.
Attendees will hear from a variety of experts about grape production, establishing a vineyard and vineyard, pest and disease management, and get a firsthand look at the Division of Agriculture’s muscadine grape breeding program with a field tour.
An exhibit featuring works created by students and entered in the juried competition is on display in the Hammons Art Gallery in Mabee Fine Arts Center on Ouachita’s campus. The exhibit is free and open to the public through Oct. 8.
