The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, Aug. 8

Police opened a felony case of breaking and entering.

Police opened a case involving a juvenile.

Saturday, Aug. 6

6:48 p.m.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a North 25th Street residence.

4:28 p.m.
Police took a walk-in report of an iPhone stolen from a Country Club Drive residence.

1:42 p.m.
Officers responded to a local business, where an elderly man appeared lost and confused. Officers made contact with the man’s wife, who picked him up.

1:07 a.m.
A Cutler Street woman reported that an unknown person stole $399 from her vehicle while it was parked at her residence.

Sunday, Aug. 7

A Gurdon man reported a fraudulent transaction on Facebook Marketplace.

Saturday, Aug. 6

9 p.m.
A man reported striking a dog with his vehicle near mile-marker 78 on Interstate 30.

1:40 p.m.
Deputies responded to a report of theft at a Highway 7 South residence.

Friday, Aug. 5

9:46 p.m.
Deputies worked an accident on Pine Street.

Thursday, Aug. 4

11:30 a.m.
Deputies responded to an argument regarding unauthorized use of a vehicle at a Jordan Road residence.

Wednesday, Aug. 3

A man reported theft of an oil can during a stay at Alpine Ridge Campground around July 4.


Friday, Aug. 5

Christopher Penny was arrested for child support.
