
Ernestine Graves Hardage, age 90, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Quapaw Healthcare Center in Hot Springs. She was born May 16, 1932, in Cedar Glades, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Lou Metcalf Graves. Ernestine was a graduate of Jessieville High School where she played on the basketball team. She retired from Nahas Sewing Factory. Ernestine was a member of DeRoche Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing in her free time and enjoyed making outfits for Renee, Mitzi and Jessica through the years. Ernestine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of fifty-six years, Van Hardage, and one brother, Preston Graves.
Survivors are one daughter, Renee Morrison (Rusty) of Bismarck, two granddaughters and their husbands, Mitzi and Kyle Overturf and Jessica and Brian Harris, four great grandchildren, Jackson and Sawyer Overturf and Savannah and Stetson Harris.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Morrison and Bro. Brian Harris officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in New Bismarck Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Dwayne Graves, Sam McEarl, Chad King, Corey King, Tyler Thornton and Ryan Thornton.
Memorials may be made to the New Bismarck Cemetery Fund or Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Fund.
