The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Monday, July 18

1:32 a.m.
Officers took an information only report regarding a man returning to a residence where he had done yard work earlier in the day and asking to enter the residence.

Sunday, July 17

1:53 a.m.
A Pecan Street woman reported receiving voicemails from an ex-boyfriend and being concerned that he was outside her residence. Police could not locate the ex-boyfriend outside the residence or at his own residence.

Saturday, July 16

Police opened a felony case of theft.

Arrests

Friday, July 15

James Eugene Tompkins, 45, was arrested for failure to pay child support.

Sunday, July 17

Khiry Hart, 31, was arrested for theft by receiving, driving on a suspended license, fictitious tags and driving left of center.

Alisha Khan, 24, was arrested for driving on a suspended license.

Steven Lockheart, 36, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for theft of property.
