The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Thursday, June 30

Midnight
Officers arrested a couple at the Youth Sports Complex pond for drug- and alcohol-related charges.

6 p.m.
Officers arrested a shoplifter at Walmart.

Wednesday, June 29

7:31 p.m.
Officers responded to a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian at the Pine Plaza parking lot. While backing up, the suspect driver pinned the pedestrian between her shopping cart and vehicle, then drove away from the scene. The pedestrian refused medical treatment, and responding officers were unable to ascertain the driver’s license plate from security footage.

Tuesday, June 28

7:13 p.m.
Officers responded to a welfare concern at a North 10th Street residence.

Police opened a felony investigation into a robbery.

Sunday, June 26

10:50 a.m.
Theft of a PlayStation 5 was reported at Powder Mill Apartments, 2801 Twin Rivers Dr.

Thursday, June 30

1 p.m.
A Prescott woman reported the theft of the license plate from her vehicle, which she had left parked at the junction of highways 51 and 67 in Beirne for mechanical issues.

Tuesday, June 28

2:30 p.m.
A deputy responded to a Breeden Lane, Caddo Valley, residence for a report of a neighbor interfering with workers trying to install internet utilities.

8:26 p.m.
A deputy was summoned to a residence on the 5000 block of Highway 67, Curtis, where a woman reported two stranded motorists requested to use her shower and/or her vehicle. The pair were denied both, but were ultimately given permission to remain parked outside so long as they left as promptly as the vehicle was running and they didn’t make anymore unusual requests.

11 a.m.
A woman reported a known male threatened her niece.

Monday, June 27

Klint Yarbrough, 23, was arrested for a warrant.

Kevin Ryan Hayes, 18, was arrested by Malvern police for a court hold.

Tuesday, June 28

Rickey Cowden, 50, was arrested for a warrant/harassment.

Charles Alan Alsabrook, 47, was arrested for unlisted charges.

Wednesday, June 29

Pierre Lamont Hunter, 57, was arrested by Arkadelphia police and held for continued detention.

Thursday, June 30

Anthony Jason Ennis, 24, was arrested by Arkadelphia police on a 12-hour hold.

Corrie Joann Faris, 25, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for a warrant.

Jamey Ray Dyer, 46, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance.

Charles Harvey Hope, 44, hold for another agency.
