The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Officers responded to a welfare concern involving a juvenile.

Tuesday, June 21

12:40 p.m.
A Hardin Street woman reported losing her driver’s license.

Police opened a felony case of forgery.

Monday, June 20

5 p.m.
A West Pine Street store clerk reported a customer made threats over the phone.

Officers responded to a non-criminal domestic disturbance involving a juvenile.

Police opened a felony case of commercial burglary.

Clark County Sheriff’s Office

An El Dorado man reported the theft of a catalytic converter from his pickup that he left parked at the Iron Mountain Spillway boat ramp parking lot.


Monday, June 20

Kevin Neal Capps, 36, was arrested for absconding.

Markeel Lamar Johnson, 27, was arrested for four counts of failure to appear.

Tuesday, June 21

Darien Hammond, 29, was sentenced to Arkansas Community Corrections.

Christian Cain, 34, continued detention.
