Grant was Ouachita’s 12th president and held the office longer than anyone in the university’s history apart from Dr. J.W. Conger, founding president.
Lonnie Gray, age 60, passed from this life on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs.
The students were chosen by Ouachita’s faculty, staff and 2022 senior class based on their academic performance, leadership in extracurricular activities, community service and potential for success.
Dr. Charles “Chuck” Barber will represent Ouachita Baptist University, as well as Bald Knob and the United States military, when he is inducted into the Arkansas Track and Field Hall of Fame next Friday, June 3 in North Little Rock.
