Wayne Baumgardner will keep his seat on the Clark County Quorum Court, defeating challenger Darin Robbins 220-75 in Tuesday’s primary election for District 10 Justice of the Peace.
Baumgardner secured 75 percent of the vote in that race, with him receiving 220 votes to Robbins’ 75.
“I want to thank the voters in the Clark County Justice of the Peace District 10 race for your vote of confidence,” Baumgardner told The Arkadelphian in an email Wednesday morning. “I am very humbled and honored. I appreciate the encouraging words of support I received from the citizens in District 10 and throughout the county. It is a privilege to again represent you to work with the others JP’s and elected officials for the betterment for Clark County. As I continue to serve, I need your input on the current issues. I thank you in advance for your input.”
