Names of 619 fallen officers added to D.C. memorial wall

Based on data submitted to and analyzed by the National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Fund (NLEOMF), 472 law enforcement officers died nationwide in the line of duty in 2021.  Of that number, 319 succumbed to COVID-19.

According to an Arkansas State Police preliminary fatal crash summary, the driver of an eastbound 2013 Honda “crossed the centerline into oncoming westbound traffic and collided head-on” with a westbound Kia Forte.

What began as a temporary addition to the uniform for games scheduled during the week of St. Patrick’s Day has turned into a permanent addition to the Arkadelphia Badger baseball uniform even into this week’s 4A State Baseball Tournament in Nashville.
