The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, April 25

12:18 a.m.
A South 11th Street man reported his roommate chased him with a frying pan over their living arrangement. Officers spoke to the suspect roommate, who denied the allegations against him and was using the only pan he had to cook with. The complainant elected to stay with a friend at a motel.

Sunday, April 24

5:15 a.m.
A Carpenter Hill Apartments woman reported someone, likely a known suspect, broke three windows on her vehicle.

11:58 a.m.
Officers responded to Ouachita Village Apartments for a report of a trespasser trying to pick a fight with the on-site manager. A tenant close to the trespasser assured officers he would stay away from the apartments.

12:30 p.m.
Officers were summoned to apartments at the 1000 block of Main Street for a verbal altercation between a couple that woke a neighbor.

3:41 p.m.
A woman reported a group of teenagers kick open a door at a home across the street from her Pine Manor Drive residence. Once the door was kicked ajar, the clique fled the scene.

Saturday, April 23

7:55 p.m.
Officers responded to a nursing home for a resident’s claim of battery.

Officers worked a report of a dog that bit a juvenile.

Police opened a rape case.

Police assisted another agency in a felony case.

Friday, April 22

7:35 a.m.
Police arrested a man at Winner’s Circle, 3120 W. Pine St., for public intoxication after a report of a customer passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle parked at a gas pump.

10 a.m.
Theft of a payroll check was reported at a residence on the 200 block of North 18th Street.

12:40 p.m.
A Car Mart employee reported two dealer tags were stolen from vehicles parked on the lot.

Officers opened a felony case of drug possession.

Sunday, April 24

9:17 p.m.
Deputies responded to Highway 182, Amity, for a dispute between neighbors involving cats killing rabbits and a neighbor shooting at the cats.

Saturday, April 23

2:12 a.m.
Deputies arrested a man at 1414 Highway 53, Gurdon, for driving under the influence following a report of a vehicle in the ditch. The man was wearing only boxers at the time of the arrest.

1:50 p.m.
Theft of an air conditioner and well pump was reported at a residence at the 2100 block of Highway 51 North.

Friday, April 22

8:03 a.m.
A North 14th Street, Arkadelphia, woman reported the theft of a wallet containing $100 from her vehicle, likely by a known suspect.

2 p.m.
Deputies responded to a Darby Road residence for an altercation between lovers.


Friday, April 22

Sean Darrin Robbins, 22, was arrested for failure to appear.

Devin Dougan, 23, was arrested for a parole hold.

Leonard Bennett, 66, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to appear.

Saturday, April 23

Jose Zavate, 21, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit.

Henry Smith, 47, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication and drinking in public.

Roderick Gray, 59, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for careless and prohibited driving and drinking in public.

Skylar Haltan, 20, was arrested for failure to comply, driving with a suspended license and possession of an instrument of crime.
