The following Easter events were submitted by local churches and nonprofit organizations:

Crossroad Assembly of God Church
A community-wide Easter egg hunt will be held at Delight City Park on Saturday, April 16. There will be hot dogs, chips, cupcakes and drinks. Age groups are 0-4, 5-8 and 9-12, with prize eggs in each age group. There will also be bounce houses for the kids. Event starts at 2 p.m., with the egg hunt kicking off at 2:30 p.m.

Junior Auxiliary
Junior Auxiliary of Arkadelphia will host Egg My Yard (“Let our Bunnies do all the Work for You”) April 16-17. Cost for $25 for 25 eggs, $50 for 50 eggs, $75 for 100 eggs. Contact any JA member to order or call Donna Sparks at 870-464-7147. All proceeds to benefit JA.

Park Hill Baptist Church
Park Hill Baptist Church will host Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday, April 16, from 2-4 p.m., at Peake Elementary School’s football field. There will be bounce houses, food, prizes, and egg hunt and more.

Trinity Temple Assembly of God
Trinity Temple Assembly of God, 3509 Pine St., will celebrate The Greatest Hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16. The church on Sunday will hold two Easter services. The first will begin at 9 a.m., followed by a service at 10:45 a.m.

First United Methodist Church
First United Methodist Church will host a Tenebrae Service, which is a service of lights, at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 14. On Easter Sunday, a SonRise service will begin at 6:30 a.m., followed by a breakfast and then two services. There will be a contemporary service at 9 a.m. and a traditional service at 11 a.m. Children ages 2 through fifth grade are invited to join for an Easter egg hunt. There will also be activities, crafts and snacks. There will be lots of fun fellowship opportunities for everyone fifth grade and older to join in as well.

Manchester United Methodist Church
Beginning at 9 a.m. there will be a community breakfast at the church, 898 Manchester Road. That event will wrap up at 9:45 a.m. The church will hold its Easter worship service beginning at 11 a.m. There will be the option of having family photos taken before and after worship. Ladies Easter hats and bonnets are welcome.

New Life Church
New Life Church, 139 High School Dr., will hold a Good Friday Service at 6:30 p.m. on April 15. On Easter Sunday the church will hold a Sunrise Service at 7 a.m., followed by an Easter Service at 10:30 a.m.

St. Ruth Baptist Church
St. Ruth Baptist Church, located at 415 Jones Street in Gum Springs, will have a one-hour Resurrection Sunday Worship beginning promptly at 11 a.m. Everyone is invited!

Greater Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church
Greater Pleasant Hill, located at 1600 Caddo St., will hold its Easter Worship services beginning with a breakfast from 8-8:45 a.m. and a morning worship service beginning at 9 a.m. An egg hunt will follow at 10:30 a.m.
