Knit Unto Others to celebrate Local Yarn Store Day April 30

ARKADELPHIA — Celebrate Local Yarn Store Day (LYS) on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Knit Unto Others, 323 Main St. in downtown Arkadelphia.

Local Yarn Store Day is an annual yarn shop appreciation day created by The National Needlearts Association (TNNA) members. The 2022 LYS Day will take place on April 30 and is designed to show support for small businesses while bringing together a unique community of knitters, crocheters, weavers and spinners to drive awareness and celebrate the craft. Vendors and retailers alike are coming together to showcase the benefits of locally owned yarn stores through an array of special products, classes, and more.

Show your support for small businesses like Knit Unto Others by coming out to celebrate the annual Local Yarn Store Day on April 30.

Knit Unto Others will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Local Yarn Shop Day. Festivities will include: 

  • Exclusive locally indie dyed yarn
  • One-of-a-kind kits to support Ukraine (percentage of proceeds will go to a Ukraine relief charity)
  • Porch and sidewalk sales
  • Giveaways and drawings
