Wanda was a daughter, wife, mother and wonderful homemaker. She worked various jobs including being a hospital volunteer, fireworks for her church, bookkeeper, and at CADC. She was a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God Church. Wanda enjoyed playing the piano and had a full-time job raising two boys.
Carmen loved to fellowship, especially after retirement, when she and Jimmy began attending First Pentecostals of Arkadelphia.
The Jim Rothwell Endowed Scholarship, which will be awarded to a freshman business major, was announced Friday, March 11, during the Hickingbotham School’s annual Business Administration Day luncheon held on campus.

The Arkadelphia Police Department has a “strict, zero-tolerance” policy when it comes to distracted driving in school zones, said Police Chief Jason “Shorty” Jackson. “Distracted driving endangers us all,” he told The Arkadelphian, “and I remind everyone that especially around the school zones we have a strict zero-tolerance policy.”
