Gurdon Primary School gets AEDC grant for outdoor garden
All schools in the state are eligible to participate in the program. The funding has helped schools create and maintain archery, fishing, and competitive shooting sports programs.

He enjoyed hunting, trapping, and telling jokes and stories. Marvin was a lifelong cartoonist and enjoyed writing humorous songs and poems. He was a father figure to many kids and a mentor to many young adults.

Faculty, staff at OBU recognized for combined 720 years of service
Faculty and staff marking from 10 to 40 years of service to Ouachita Baptist University were recognized during a January 18 meeting on campus.

Officers were summoned to a downed utility pole at the intersection of Country Club Road and North 26th Street. Evidence at the scene suggested someone driving an older model GMC pickup had struck the pole and left the area on Country Club.
