AG sends letter to OSHA demanding withdrawal of vaccine mandate

The letter follows a 6-3 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court last week blocking the Biden Administration’s OSHA vaccine mandate in response to a legal challenge brought by Attorney General Rutledge and other state attorneys general in addition to trade groups, nonprofits and private businesses.

Mid-America exhibit to promote selfies

Mid-America Science Museum announced plans to open its newest exhibit called Point of View, to promote the worldwide phenomenon of taking “selfies” or self-portraits.  The exhibit will open to the public on Friday, January 28 and run through the rest of the year.

Tiger Mart, Donut Palace hub closing temporarily for Pine Street project

Tiger Mart and Donut Palace’s hub location on the adjacent lot will halt business operations on Tuesday, Feb. 1. Randy Dixon, who has operated Tiger Mart the past 15 years, said the store will be rebuilt on the vacant lot west of the current location, between Robey and 10th streets.
