WMA turkey hunting permit applications start Jan. 15
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will accept applications Jan. 15-Feb. 15 from hunters who want to hunt on many wildlife management areas during the 2022 Arkansas turkey season.

Walter was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam war where he received three Purple Hearts, one Bronze Star, and one Silver Star. He enjoyed photography and stamp collecting in his free time.

Tri-County Lake jetties improved
Contractors with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission completed a major project at Mike Knoedl Tri-County Lake in Calhoun County in December, improving fishing access and fish habitat on the popular 280-acre lake in south-central Arkansas.
