MOBILE, Ala. — Ouachita Baptist University cornerback Gregory Junior has accepted an invitation to participate in the 2022 Reese’s Senior Bowl.
Junior, a four-year letterman at Ouachita, will join the best-of-the-best NFL draft prospects from all levels of college football to showcase their talents and connect with coaches and staff members from all 32 NFL teams.
“I’m very honored and excited to represent Ouachita in the Reese’s Senior Bowl,” said Junior. “Getting to compete with the best in college football is a great opportunity. I’m very grateful for the coaches at Ouachita, and for Jim Nagy, the director of the Senior Bowl.”
In his final season at Ouachita, Junior aided Ouachita to a 9-2 finish, the seventh nine-plus win season in school history. The Crossett native helped the Tigers lead the Great American Conference in pass defense. He finished the year with 46 tackles, seven pass breakups, and was responsible for one safety. He earned All-GAC first team honors and was selected to the D2Football.com Elite 100 All-America team.

“The staff and I couldn’t be more excited and pleased for Greg getting this invitation,” said Ouachita Head Coach Todd Knight. “He has worked extremely hard in his time at Ouachita, both on the field, and in his studies. I know he will represent himself, his family, and Ouachita football at a high level. We are confident in Greg’s preparation for the Senior Bowl and NFL draft, and we are looking forward to seeing where he lands.”
The 73rd annual Reese’s Senior Bowl will be held in Mobile, Alabama on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Hancock Whitney Stadium.
