
Charles David Williams, age 76, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. He was born May 15, 1945, in Smithton, the son of the late Ceburn Eugene and Ruby Dell Ellis Williams. Charles was a graduate of Gurdon High School. He was a United States Army veteran.
Charles was a retired driver for Malone’s Pharmacy. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Gurdon. Charles enjoyed playing dominos and slot machines in his free time. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Brenda Gail Williams, one adopted son, Ronald Jo Baker, four brothers, Ceburn Eugene Williams, Paul Jefferson Williams, Jerry Williams and Billy Jack Williams.
Survivors are one son, Jason David Williams (Maranda) of Gurdon, two daughters, Renae Foster (Jason) of Nashville and Rhonda Jester (Keith) of Gurdon, one sister, Bonnie Beard (Lennie) of Arkadelphia, nine grandchildren, Josh, Jaimee and J.L. Lockwood, Presley Capps, Gunner Pennington, Kylee Jo Baker, Cadence and Remington Williams and Weston Creed Foster, and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Rose Hedge Cemetery with Bro. Andrew Godwin and Bro. Chris Williams officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
