The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Arkadelphia Police Department
Tuesday, Dec. 21
Officers opened a felony case of second-degree battery.
12:06 p.m.
A man reported being strangled by a known male at the latter’s apartment at the 2600 block of Country Club Road. The reporting officer observed abrasions on the man’s neck and face. The complainant was informed of affidavit procedures and told to contact the prosecutor’s office.
5 p.m.
A South Peake Street woman reported someone cut the screen of her bedroom window, marking the third of three criminal mischief incidents at her residence in recent weeks. She had also noted a ball had been slashed and a basketball net cut from its hoop.
Monday, Dec. 20
3:15 p.m.
A Perryville woman with a former Arkadelphia address reported someone made a fraudulent transaction online using her bank card information and had the $179 worth of merchandise to be delivered to the complainant’s former address.
7:42 p.m.
Officers arrested a man for public intoxication at Winner’s Circle, 3120 W. Pine St. A clerk at the station phoned officers to report the man had passed out on the sidewalk in front of the store.
Officers opened a case of a runaway juvenile.

Monday, Dec. 20
Dakota Lewis, 26, was arrested for public intoxication.
Tuesday, Dec. 21
Joseph Allen Jester, 42, was arrested for first-degree criminal mischief and absconding.
Brandy Ashley, 34, was arrested for a warrant.
Natasha Jones, 39, was arrested for public intoxication.
