School board to meet Tuesday

A light agenda awaits the Arkadelphia Board of Education when it convenes Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m.

Much of the meeting will be devoted to recognizing staff, school groups, students and community leaders for Badger Pride awards.

If there is no hearing of individuals or delegations, the school board will take care of routine business before considering a review of real estate contract bids, if there are any, on the Central Primary School campus on Pine Street.

Also up for consideration is a change in date and location for the school board’s regular meeting.

If there are any personnel matters to come to the board, they will likely be held in executive session.

The board will hear monthly departmental reports before hearing the report from Superintendent Karla Neathery.

The meeting will be held at Dawson Building #3, 700 Clinton St., in the upstairs conference room. The meeting is open to the public.
