School board revisits mask mandate
Following the decision, board member Clark Tennyson questioned the district’s handle on quarantines, asking if recent actions taken by district principals have been effective.

City Board: No quorum, no meeting
Directors Chris Porter (Ward 2), Jason Jones (Ward 5) and Reo Cummings (Ward 4) were present for the 5:30 p.m. meeting. At least four directors of the seven-member city board must be present in order to hold a meeting.
Manchester’s Pumpkin Day set for Oct. 2
On the grassy lot between the community center’s playground and Manchester Road will be rows of Arkansas-grown pumpkins for sale. Festival-goers are able to browse the large selection of pumpkins that will be picked and delivered the day before the event. In addition to the traditional jack-o-lantern type pumpkins, exotic varieties will be available at Pumpkin Day.

School board to talk Facility Master Plan at luncheon
According to documents provided to The Arkadelphian, planned capital projects to be discussed include the construction of a new primary school for grades 3-5, converting a new elementary facility for use as a K-4 school, a security project at Goza Middle School, and replacing the high school building with a new two-story facility.
