Arkadelphia will be the site of a large gathering of GOP politicians, candidates and members this weekend as Republicans throughout Arkansas’ Fourth Congressional District will meet at the Clark County Fairgrounds for a district committee meeting.
Saturday’s meeting is expected to draw elected officials throughout the district, whose geographical area spans far into Northwest Arkansas and includes most of southwestern Arkansas.
Statewide GOP candidates are also expected to be in attendance at the meeting, which comes just weeks after the Clark County Republican Committee’s Lincoln Day Dinner that attracted a crowd of some 500 attendees.
During the meeting, elected officials and statewide candidates will be given five minutes apiece to address the crowd.
The meeting will commence at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the fairgrounds. There is a $10 registration fee.
