Thursday, Aug. 26
7:20 p.m.
Officers responded to a residence on the 1000 block of South 23rd Street for a domestic disturbance involving an unmarried couple. A witness reported the boyfriend had jumped over a couch and punched the girlfriend. The couple left the scene prior to police arrival.

Wednesday, Aug. 25
7:45 p.m.
Officers were summoned to the 1500 block of Gresham Street, where a woman reported seeing a known male suspect enter a neighbor’s residence through an unlocked door. She said she entered the residence as well and told him to leave. Police apprehended the man on the 1600 block of Gresham Street.

10:10 p.m.
Police responded to the West Pine Exxon parking lot for a knife-involved altercation between relatives. Officers met the suspect at the gas pumps and placed her in custody. They learned the altercation began at Pine Court Apartments, where the Texas woman was visiting family. The victim showed officers where she had received a cut on her thumb. The suspect was released and was headed back home.

Police opened a felony burglary case.

Wednesday, Aug. 25
9:15 p.m.
Deputies responded to a residence at the 1400 block of Highway 51 North after a 911 hangup. A deputy arrived to find a sobbing woman who said she had been in an argument with her boyfriend and threatened to call 911 but didn’t mean to actually dial. While speaking with her, the deputy heard a male cough. As he tried making contact with the man, he fled into a wooded area. Deputies searched the parameter, unable to locate him at first. He was later apprehended.

Brandon Giles, 35, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
F. Hoeninghause, 36, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Thursday, Aug. 26
Bud Tillman, 34, continued detention.
Anthony Rey Springer, 33, was arrested for fleeing and a parole violation.
Christopher Leon Mauldin, 29, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to appear.
McArthur Lee Reed, 48, continued detention and parole violation.
Jose Acosta, 48, was arrested for a parole violation.
Sasha Reed, 33, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for driving while intoxicated.
