He retired from the United States Postal Service in 2004. He served our country in the Arkansas National Guard. He enlisted on June 25, 1959 and retired as a Captain on November 4, 1979. Upon retirement, he received The Meritorious Service Medal and The Army Commendation Medal.
A Memphis, Tenn., truck driver reported being assaulted by a colleague in the parking lot of Phillips 66 at Highway 53, Gurdon, where the two meet regularly to exchange trailers. The complainant said the suspect pinned him against the side of his truck and threatened to kill him — that he wasn’t afraid to return to prison — for no apparent reason.
