The following incidents were gathered from reports filed Sept. 14-20, 2026, at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Arrested or cited individuals are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names, so don’t even think about asking.
Arkadelphia Police Department
Monday, Sept. 14
11:55 a.m.
Someone waved down an officer to report finding several debit cards and an identification on the ground at Pine Street and Professional Park Drive. The items were collected, but attempts to locate and phone the owner, a Gurdon resident who had since moved, were unsuccessful.
1:52 p.m.
A North 10th Street man reported being the theft of two fraudulent withdrawals from his Chime account totaling $125. Though equipped with names of two separate suspects, the complainant did not know either of them.
5:57 p.m.
A Pine Street retailer cashier reported being the victim of sexual assault when a customer made inappropriate comments before grabbing her by the buttocks. The suspect fled the store before she could confront or identify him. Police were given a description of the suspect, but there was no video footage of the incident to help identify him.
9:42 p.m.
Police responded to a disturbance at Landon Stone Apartments, 100 Caddo St., arriving to find a scuffle between two males in the parking lot. The aggressor, 27-year-old Malcom Jamal Boddie, had his stepfather in a headlock and was dragging him across the parking lot. Boddie ignored Officer Chuck Fitzsimmons’s commands to release the victim despite warnings that he would be tasered. Boddie complied when the taser was deployed, and taken into custody for two counts of 3rd-degree domestic battery and one count of interfering with emergency communications, as he had taken the caller’s phone and thrown it to the ground upon learning that 911 was being called.
Tuesday, Sept. 15
10:36 a.m.
Police were called to a North 15th Street residence for a dispute between an estranged couple. No arrest was made.
3:23 p.m.
Arriving to a report of a domestic disturbance at Carpenter Hill Apartments, 670 S. 6th St., officers discovered one party, reportedly bleeding heavily from self-sustained injuries to her wrists, had left the scene. Police followed a blood trail to a nearby wooded area, locating the female, who was combative with police and fire department personnel. After a number of unlisted compliance techniques were unsuccessful, Sgt. John Schofer tasered the female, bringing her into compliance after two dry-stuns. She was escorted to an ambulance while other officers took statements from the actual victim, who said she was punched, choked and had a framed photograph smashed on her head. Police documented a number of injuries on her body. No arrest was made.
Wednesday, Sept. 16
7:20 a.m.
Officers responded to an unattended death at a Cypress Road residence. The deceased was a 64-year-old female with a history of health conditions. The coroner responded to take possession of the body.
7:29 a.m.
A customer of Country Club Laundromat, 2504 Country Club Road, reported inadvertently leaving his wallet there the previous evening and not being able to relocate it that morning.
1:45 p.m.
Police were called to a complaint of animal cruelty at Carpenter Hill Apartments, locating a kenneled pit bull puppy behind a residence in the shade but without access to food or water. The resident told officers the puppy belongs to someone she knows who was supposed to get the dog that day. Animal Control took possession of the animal.
8:30 p.m.
Clocking a vehicle traveling 55 mph in a 45-mph zone, a traffic stop was conducted at W.P. Malone Drive. The driver, 35-year-old Demrrio Louis Murphy, of Arkadelphia, had multiple warrants from APD and the sheriff’s office, with bond amounts near $10,000 due to the numerous failure to appear warrants. Murphy was arrested for driving with a suspended license and speeding.
11:02 p.m.
An eastbound officer passing Car-Mart on Pine Street saw a cloud of smoke rising in the area of Pine Plaza, and upon arrival observed a white Dodge Charger doing donuts in the parking lot east of Subway. The driver, Nicholas Ryan Long, 28, of Little Rock, was scolded for the damage his tires caused to the recently painted parking lot stripes, and was arrested for reckless driving and criminal mischief.
Thursday, Sept. 17
9:10 a.m.
A Walnut Street woman reported being the victim of two fraudulent debit card transactions through her Amazon account, totaling $838. Both orders were shipped to a residence in Oregon.
11:52 a.m.
A South 25th Street man reported a known female brandished a knife during a property transaction. He was advised of proper procedures should he wish to pursue charges.
1:25 p.m.
A Caddo Street man reported leaving his wallet at Dollar General, 1301 N. 10th St., on the afternoon of Sept. 15. He returned to the store, and a store employee gave him his wallet, which was reportedly lacking $147 in cash. The caller further investigated the suspected theft, but could not ascertain who turned in the wallet. He was advised of the affidavit process should a suspect be positively identified.
5:41 p.m.
A Gresham Street man reported a known female asked to borrow some money, then, before he could respond, reached into his pocket and stole $21 in cash and left the area.
9:12 p.m.
A Carpenter Hill Apartments woman reported being threatened and harassed by a known female. The suspect was advised that she would be arrested if police were called back there for disturbances involving her.

Friday, Sept. 18
8:53 a.m.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at Chateau Apartments, 218 N. 11th St., where a man reported his girlfriend, during an argument, threw a piece of kitchen equipment that broke a window. Management said they wanted the woman banned from the property should she be located or return.
9:06 p.m.
An Austin Street woman reported a known female inappropriately touched her adult son. Asked by an officer about the incident, the suspect denied the allegation. The mom was advised to contact the city prosecutor to pursue charges.
Saturday, Sept. 19
1:04 a.m.
A traffic stop was made when an officer patrolling North 10th Street clocked a southbound vehicle traveling at 60 mph in a 35-mph zone. The driver, Bailey Tiffanylexus Robison, 19, of Hazen, was arrested for reckless driving and speeding 15 mph over the posted limit.
2:23 a.m.
Police were called to Cutler Terrace Apartments, 1401 Cutler St., for a disturbance between ex-girlfriends. The caller advised that she had gone to the other’s residence to confront her about infidelity, and that a physical altercation ensued at the door. She said that as she was leaving in her vehicle the other female struck the car with a folding table, shattering the windshield and rear window. The other party gave a similar account. No arrest was made.
Noon
A Caddo Valley woman complained that an unknown male stole her cell phone at a Robin Lane residence, where she had visited in hopes to ask a known male to mow her lawn, instead visiting with the unknown person. She said she returned to inquire about the phone’s whereabouts, only to learn that he had given to another woman. She was unable to make contact with that person, and could not provide details about the phone.
9:56 p.m.
Officers were called to the 100 block of South 19th Street for a domestic disturbance involving a dating couple. After observing injuries and taking statements, police made the decision to arrest both parties, Nicolas Brandon Seale, 26, and Cameron Alyssa Thomas, 24, for third-degree domestic battery.
Sunday, Sept. 20
12:18 a.m.
Responding to an open 911 call at 18th and Hunter streets, police encountered Tracy Lashall Stone, 24, leaving a residence at that location and exhibiting signs of intoxication. Deemed a danger to her own safety, Stone was arrested for public intoxication.
8:02 a.m.
A South Peake Street man reported finding his vehicle’s back passenger window shattered.
