Annetta Chancellor Brackett, age 95, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born April 18, 1931, in Booneville, the daughter of the late Joshua Henry and Ida Thelma Brigance Chancellor.
Annetta was a homemaker, former youth director and receptionist at various churches in Arkadelphia. She attended First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia. Annetta enjoy gardening, reading and studying the word.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Garland Brackett, one son, Richard Brackett, three sisters, Marguerite Hunt, Velta Borsema and Maida Godwin, three brothers, Nelson Chancellor, Dwayne Chancellor and Jerry Chancellor.
Survivors are one daughter, Tracy Mims (John) of Lewisville, TX, two sons, Randy Brackett (Cynthia) of Jonesborough, TN and Daniel Brackett (Mandy) of Bentonville, AR, two sisters, Rowan Rennie of Shawnee, OK and Cleo Moore El Dorado, thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and special loved ones, Dana Davenport and Susan Brackett.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 1, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia with Bro. Erby Burgess and Bro. Jimmy Darby officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Monday until service time at the church.
Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Joshua Brackett, Chris Williams, Phillip Reed, McKinley Sanford, Shawn Mims and Jerry Chancellor, Jr.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Park Hill Baptist Church.
