Roy Lynn Neel, age 71, of Waldron, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born October 15, 1954, in Arkadelphia, the son of the late Buddy Roy and Mattie Alice Garner Neel.
Lynn was a 1973 graduate of Arkadelphia High School and attended Henderson State University. He worked as a butcher and meat department manager for Harp’s Foods for many years. Lynn enjoyed riding horses, riding motorcycles and most of all spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Lynn is survived by his wife of twenty eight years, Sandy Pierce Neel of Waldron, one son, Jason Neel (Michelle) of Wesley Chapel, FL, two daughters, Carla Ravey (Paul) of Waldron and Deshawna McKinnon of Hot Springs, one brother, Wayne Neel (Beth) of Arkadelphia, three grandchildren, Elizabeth Hope, Alexandrea Mahaffey and Brylan Neel, two great-grandchildren, Cambreigh Mahaffey and Cohen Hope.
Graveside services will be held at DeGray Cemetery, at 12 Noon on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, with Pastor Ricky Hunt officiating.
No Visitation is Planned.
