The following incidents were gathered from reports filed March 24-29, 2026, at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Arrested or cited individuals are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names, so don’t even think about asking.
Arkadelphia Police Department
Tuesday, March 24
1:14 p.m.
A Lark Place resident complained that a neighbor was banging at her door and yelling for her to move her parked vehicle. The neighbor showed an officer how the caller had parked so close to their car that they couldn’t fit between the vehicles. Management said they’d speak with the tenants about parking arrangements.
Juvenile report: Dog bite
7:42 p.m.
Officers were called to a Clay Street residence for a domestic disturbance. An ambulance was called to the scene and bandaged the female’s injury. After taking statements from both parties, police arrested Jeffrey Pipkin, 58, for third-degree domestic battery.
Thursday, March 26
3:55 a.m.
Officers were called to a domestic disturbance with injury at Stricklin Apartments, 401 S. 11th St. The male suspect, Keauntae Lamark Gray, 44, had fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival. Officers observed the female’s injuries and took her statement, then canvassed the area in search of Gray, without success. Police were called back to the residence about an hour later, finding Gray and arresting him for third-degree domestic battery.
12:50 p.m.
Officers took a Hot Springs woman’s report that an argument with her brother turned physical at his Millcreek Drive residence, and that she left her phone and license there. Police responded to the residence, heard the brother’s side of the story, collected the sister’s belongings and returned them to her. No further action was taken.
3:42 p.m.
Officers were requested at an Elaine Circle residence for a complaint that a plumbing company had dug a large hole in his yard while repairing collapsed storm drains in a neighbor’s yard. An officer advised the matter was civil in nature and that work would halt until a meeting with the city over an easement.
Friday, March 27
Juvenile report: Disorderly conduct
Saturday, March 28
7:12 a.m.
Police were called to a domestic disturbance at a North 13th Street residence, where a female allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in the leg with a pair of scissors while he lay sleeping. The boyfriend refused medical treatment to his still-bleeding injury. After taking statements from both parties, officers arrested Deanna Merchant, 19, for third-degree domestic battery.
Clark County Sheriff’s Office
Tuesday, March 24
10:24 a.m.
A Kansas Road woman reported her boyfriend broke her computer, then left the residence. The computer monitor was cracked, but the unit itself still worked. The caller was advised of affidavit procedures.
