Citizens are invited to a community-wide fundraiser barbecue to benefit the 11 families displaced by the March 17 fire that destroyed Valley View Apartments.
The event, titled Badgers Give Back, will take place Thursday, April 2, from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Arkadelphia Youth Sports Complex.
The benefit is being headed up by the Future Business Leader Association teams of Arkadelphia High School and Goza Middle School, and AHS Beta Club.
Each plate comes with a barbecue sandwich, chips and a cookie. Pre-sale tickets are $10 apiece, or $15 at the gate.
Event sponsors are Patterson Federal Credit Union, Ludwig’s Bakery, Fat Boys Fine Food & Catering and State Farm – Jessica Hormell. Sponsorships are available by calling Nicole McGough at 870-464-7415 or Ashley Wesley at 903-276-5257.
Additionally, Patterson has an account to receive monetary donations for victims of the fire, called the Valley View Benefit Fund.
