Arvilee Fulmer

Arvilee Fulmer, age 88, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at his home.  He was born September 10, 1937, in Clark County, the son of the late Walter Roland and Lennie Shepherd Fulmer, Sr.  

Arvilee was a United States Navy veteran and served in the Air Force and Army reserves.  He was a retired pipe fitter for the United States Government, the Department of the Army and the FDA.  Arvilee was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting in his free time.  

Arvilee was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of sixty-three years, Ruthie Smith Fulmer and one brother, Roland Fulmer, Jr.

Survivors are three daughters, Teena Davis (Wesley) of Hot Springs, Tammy Necessary of Hot Springs and Teresa Whitworth (James) of Aly, one brother, Troy Fulmer of Arkadelphia, two sisters, Diane Basco of Arkadelphia and Barbara Quinney of Arkadelphia, ten grandchildren, Matt Frazier (Bekah), Jay Frazier (Misty), Wendy Baxley (Paul), Summer Austin (Mike), Sean Necessary (Claire), Shannon Stringfellow (Bryan), Ben Necessary (Hailey), Kelli McGarrah (Jeff), Kyle Shaw (Aleia) and Kaleb Shaw (Alyssa), several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday March 6, 2026, at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Bro. Chad Cox officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time.

Interment will be in Richland Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Matt Frazier, Jay Frazier, Kaleb Shaw, Ben Necessary, Brad Fulmer and Brandon Frazier.
