Open to the general public, the Arkadelphia Community Health Fair & Child Safety Initiative is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at Peake Elementary School from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The free event is presented by St. Paul AME Church and Trinity Temple Assembly of God.
Riding high on last year’s success, the ACHSFair broke last year’s records by offering over 300 health screenings—25 wellness vendors provided a range of resources, including haircuts for men and boys, braids for women and girls, manicures, food demonstrations, and more. Children joyfully explored fire trucks, police cars, and state trooper vehicles as part of the child safety initiative. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees and participants confirmed the community’s strong need and support for these initiatives.
Get ready for a more dynamic ACHSFair in 2026! Attendees can look forward to an exciting lineup of health screenings, a flu shot clinic, and a wide range of vendors. This year’s highlight, ‘Caring for our veterans,’ will present a diverse array of services designed to enhance veterans’ well-being and help them access the benefits they deserve. The child safety initiative will be just as engaging, aiming to raise awareness about safety and strengthen community ties. Join us to connect with an enthusiastic audience, demonstrate your commitment to community health, and network with local health leaders. Your participation is crucial for the success of this event and for promoting a healthier community.
The event promises food, fun and family enjoyment, Free shuttle rides will be available by calling 501-813-0643. Participants must be present to win door prizes including a big-screen TV, bicycles, and more.
