Austin Helms

Austin Kyle Helms was a beloved son, brother, and friend to many. He impacted the lives of all he encountered with his loyalty, generosity, and dedication. He was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back, even if it meant he wouldn’t be wearing one afterwards. There are doers and talkers in this world. Austin was a doer. He was known for his hard work, which he dedicated himself to at an early age.  Scripture speaks of the righteous man having care for the well being of his animals. Austin always cared for his animals, even if it meant he went hungry. Scripture also speaks of there being no greater love than this; that one lay down his life for his friends. Austin lived this out. He is in a better place now. The demons that surrounded him in his later years no longer plague him. He is now with Christ in heaven for certain.

He was born February 8, 1994, in Russellville, the son of Kenneth and Angela Greene Helms.  Austin was employed as a farmhand by Helms Dairy Farm.  He enjoyed hunting, four wheeler riding, carpentry work and anything related to farming.

Survivors are his parents, Kenneth and Angela Helms of Arkadelphia, one brother, Alec Helms of Arkadelphia, one sister, Kathleen Helms (Kait) of Newport News, VA, and his grandparents, Gary and Peggy Greene of Mountain View, AR.
