As of Feb. 3, 2026, there were 340 people listed as Clark County inmates by the Arkansas Department of Corrections website.
There were 8 more inmates since last month’s report. The inmates are distributed among several institutions throughout the state.
There are 22 Clark County inmates serving a life sentence or life without parole, and one Garland County inmate on death row who served probation in Clark County in the 1980s.
The total includes 315 men and 25 women. There are 176 black inmates, 158 white inmates and six of other races.
The following Clark County inmates have a parole- or transfer-eligible date in February 2026, although there are several factors that could affect any individual release for months or years.
Travis K. Buck, 34, is serving a 15-year sentence at the Tucker Unit. Buck’s current sentence history includes a November 2022 conviction in Clark County for simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, use of another’s property to facilitate a crime, possession of a firearm by a certain person, and possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance; and a 2018 conviction in Saline County for possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance, failure to appear, and possession of a firearm by a certain person.
Trent H. Derry, 35, is serving 25 years at Mississippi County Work Release. Derry’s current sentence history includes a 2023 conviction in Yell County for possession of meth/cocaine with purpose to deliver; and 2016 convictions in Clark County for residential burglary, theft of property, and robbery (probation revocation).
James R. Fell, 47, is serving a 10-year sentence at the Wrightsville Unit. Fell’s current sentence history includes a 2022 and 2024 convictions in Saline County for commercial burglary, theft by receiving, possession of a firearm by a certain person, and possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance. Fell was given probation in Clark County in 2014 for an aggravated assault charge.
Joshua R. Lawson, 37, is on the Lee County waiting list to serve 4 years. His current sentence history includes a 2024 charge in Lee County for possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance. Lawson was given probation in Clark County in 2009 for a theft of property charge.
Jimmy C. Palmer, 57, is serving a 10-year sentence at the Varner Unit. Palmer’s current sentence history includes 2008 and 2013 convictions in Pike County for criminal attempt and possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance; a 2017 conviction in Garland County for delivery of meth; a February 2025 conviction in Clark County for second-degree sexual assault; and a June 2025 conviction in Hot Spring County for possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance.
Jaquwan Rainey, 22, is serving 8 years at the East Arkansas Regional Unit. Rainey’s current sentence history includes a 2023 conviction in Clark County for terroristic act.
Jakob M. Reppo, 38, is on the Pike County waiting list to serve a 25-year sentence. Reppo’s current history is lengthy and contains numerous drug and theft charges in Garland, Clark and Montgomery counties dating to a 2006 conviction. His latest convictions were in September 2025 in Pike County for possession of drug paraphernalia; a 2018 conviction in Montgomery County for theft of property; and a 2018 conviction in Clark County for residential burglary.
Davion Richardson, 36, is serving 7 years at Benton Work Release. Richardson’s current sentence history includes a 2021 conviction in Clark County for aggravated robbery.
