Don Wilkinson

Donald “Don” Webb Wilkinson, age 84, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia.  He was born January 1, 1942, in Warren, Arkansas, the son of the late Ralph McKinney and Margaret Wilkinson.  

Don was a 1960 graduate of Warren High School where he was a standout football player for the Lumberjacks.  He graduated with a master’s degree from Henderson State University and later went on to be an assistant coach for the Reddies.  Don was the owner and operator of several local businesses in Arkadelphia.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Arkadelphia.  Don enjoyed woodworking and tending to his horses in his free time.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister, Donna Vittitow, and one brother-in-law, Don Byrd.

Don is survived by his wife, Betty Carpenter Wilkinson of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Leslie Rosales (Lucas) of Maumelle, one sister, Linda Byrd of Clarksville, one grandchild, Sadie Fulton Breland (Connor) of Brandon, MS, one great-grandchild, Bennett Lyle Breland, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be announced.
