An El Dorado man was killed in a one-vehicle accident on Arkansas Highway 355 in rural Nevada County.
According to a preliminary fatal crash report posted by Arkansas State Police, 27-year-old DeMarcus Aaron was driving a southbound 2013 Nissan near the community of Falcon when he veered off the roadway and struck a tree. Aaron died as a result of the crash.
Aaron’s passengers, Lakiyah Hopson, 22, of Camden, and Jonavan Robinson, 18, of El Dorado, were injured in the crash and transported to Magnolia Regional Medical Center.
Investigating State Trooper Adrienne Colvin noted dry roads and clear weather at the time of the crash, recorded as 10:59 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026.
