Bobby DeWayne McChesney, age 81, of Okolona, passed from this life on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at his home. He was born March 2, 1944, in Norman, OK, the son of the late Luke and Trevah Tubbs McChesney.
Bobby attended Harmony Grove Schools. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. Bobby was a Baptist by faith. He enjoyed flying, music and woodworking in his free time.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy Wayne McChesney.
Survivors are one son, Clint McChesney (Dee-Dee) of Quitman, one daughter, Bobbie Lynn McChesney (Melinda) of Houston, TX, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A service of remembrance for Bobby will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Okolona Baptist Church.
Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
