Marguerite Elaine Oliver, age 85, of Mayflower, passed from this life on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Baptist Medical Center in Conway. She was born November 6, 1940, in Alexandria, LA, the daughter of the late Shelton and Hilda Frances Wanger Davis.
Marguerite was a graduate of Mabelvale High School. She retired in 1997 as an accountant for the State of Arkansas for 20 years. Marguerite was a member of First Baptist Church of Mayflower. She enjoyed cooking, working in her flower beds and most of all spending time with her family.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, one son, James L. Oliver (Jimmy), one sister, Fran Still, two brothers, Roger and Shelton Lee Davis.
Survivors are her husband, James Oliver of Mayflower, one daughter, Dainta Annetta Vickers (Monty) of Mayflower, one son, Michael Todd Oliver (Paula) of Little Rock, one sister, Judy Davis Garner of Hot Springs, one brother, David Davis (Daisey) of Philippine, six grandchildren, Paige Noles (Matt) of Jonesboro, Zach Oliver (Chelsea) of Hensley, Lindsey Stacy (Jake) of Wynne, Drake Vickers of Mayflower, Derek Vickers (Mackenzie) of Mayflower and Dillon Oliver of East End, six great-grandchildren, Cooper Noles of Jonesboro, Bo and Brooks Oliver of Hensley, Henry and Lillith Stacy of Wynne and Henry Vickers.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Mayflower with Pastor Chris Satterwhite and Grey Sykes officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon Tuesday at the church.
Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park at Alexander.
Pallbearers are Zach Oliver, Dillon Oliver, Drake Vickers, Derek Vickers.
