The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Juvenile report: Runaway
Tuesday, Sept. 30
6:43 p.m.
A Logan Street resident requested officers to his residence for a complaint of a neighbor parking in the street next to his house. Upon arrival police learned that unfriendly words had been exchanged during a confrontation. An officer spoke with the neighbor, who said he had briefly parked a truck in the street while moving equipment around on his property. Both parties were informed that it’s legal to park a vehicle in the street at that location.
4:10 p.m.
A tenant of Ouachita Village Apartments, 11 Cypress Ct., reported the theft of an estimated $50 worth of her clothing from the on-site laundromat.
7:26 p.m.
Police were dispatched to Country Club Laundromat, 2502 Country Club Road, where a motorist had driven through the front wall of the establishment. The driver said that, as he pulled up to the laundromat, his foot slipped off the brake pedal onto the accelerator, sending the vehicle over the curb and through the wall. A patron who was injured in the crash said he was sitting with his back to the wall when it happened; he was transported by ambulance to Baptist Health Medical Center-Arkadelphia for examination. The mishap caused an estimated $25,000 in damages to the building, which the new property owner taped off and closed.

11:42 a.m.
Officers were called to a Robin Lane residence for a domestic disturbance between two related females. One party was in the process of being evicted at the time the report was written.
Friday, Oct. 3
1:08 p.m.
A Caddo Valley woman reported a known female vandalized her car while it was parked on Logan Street. Officers were made aware of the vandalism on Sept. 28 when unidentified juveniles reported witnessing the incident, but the male resident didn’t wish to file a police report.
Saturday, Oct. 4
6:10 p.m.
Police were called to Walmart for a store complaint of a shoplifter. Upon arrival officers made contact with the suspect, Krissen Sheree Piggee, 31, in the parking lot as she was loading un-bagged merchandise into a vehicle. Piggee was escorted back inside the store, where she was unable to provide a receipt for the items, which were scanned and added up to $409. Piggee was issued a lifetime ban from Walmart and issued a citation for theft of property. She was also served a warrant for failure to appear.
Sunday, Oct. 5
11:49 a.m.
Officers were called to a Phillips Street residence for a complaint of a trespasser. Police arrived to locate Kiarra Detoni Ross, 34, walking out of the yard at the residence. Police had received three calls that morning regarding Ross, who had been instructed to stay off of people’s property. Ross had also been booked into the county jail the day prior for trespassing. Asked what he was doing now, Ross admitted that he was looking into the caller’s vehicle. Ross was arrested for criminal trespass.
