JavaPrimo announces closure of Hot Springs location; Arkadelphia, Magnolia remain open and thriving

After nearly 17 years of serving the Hot Springs community, JavaPrimo has announced the permanent closure of its Hot Springs location, effective immediately.

The decision, announced Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, comes after “much thoughtful consideration and marks the end of a meaningful chapter for the company,” owner Shelley Hughes said.

The change impacts only the Hot Springs café. Hughes noted that JavaPrimo’s Arkadelphia and Magnolia locations remain open for business, fully operational, and ready to continue serving customers with the same quality food, drinks, and hospitality the community has come to expect.

“Everything in life has a season, and while our season in Hot Springs has come to a close, we are deeply grateful for the friendships, memories, and loyal customers who supported us for nearly two decades,” Hughes said. “We want to reassure everyone that our Arkadelphia and Magnolia locations are unaffected and we look forward to welcoming both longtime and new guests there.”

As a farewell, JavaPrimo plans to open the Hot Springs location one final time for a large merchandise sale, giving customers the opportunity to shop, share memories, and say goodbye. Details of the sale will be announced soon.

The restaurant space in Hot Springs is also available for lease. Interested parties are encouraged to contact JavaPrimo directly via Facebook or by emailing shelley@javaprimo.com.

JavaPrimo extends a heartfelt thank you to the Hot Springs community and reminds everyone of the importance of supporting small businesses: “Local businesses are the backbone of our communities, and we encourage everyone to continue supporting the families who make them possible.”

JavaPrimo is a family-owned café and restaurant serving specialty coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts. With locations in Arkadelphia and Magnolia, JavaPrimo is dedicated to providing fresh food, quality drinks, and warm hospitality to the communities it serves.
