Harry S Truman Collins, age 80, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Thursday September 11, 2025, at CHI St. Vincents in Hot Springs. He was born on April 12, 1945, in Friendship the son of the late James and Helen Ross Collins.
Truman retired from the maintenance department at Arkadelphia School District. He was a member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. Truman enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting coins, and singing in gospel groups.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Marilyn Taylor and Murriel Barrong, two brothers, JT Collins and James Collins, three sisters, Bernice Glasscock, Corinna Clay, and Jean Dean, one son, Steven Milner, one infant brother, and one son in law, Mark McCaskill
Truman is survived by two sons, Jeff Milner and wife Debbie of Shakertown, and Truman D. Collins and wife Jacqueline of Bismarck, three daughters, Tamara McCaskill of Bismarck, Lisa Riley and husband Jim of Rush, and Kristin Conaway and husband Chris of Buffalo Junction, VA, one brother, Edgar Collins of Degray, two sisters, Linda Dougan of Little Rock, and Carolyn Carter of Searcy, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will host a memorial service at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia with Bro. Larry Newsome and Bro. Josh Keel officiating.
