Brenda Drucella Buckelew, age 77, of Hot Springs, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at her home. She was born April 5, 1948, in Hot Springs, the daughter of the late Elburn Luther and Audie Margaret Elizabeth Williams York.
Brenda was a homemaker. She enjoyed working puzzles and taking care of her grandchildren in her free time.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Houston York, Joe York, William York and Roy York, eight sisters, Barbara Brown, Pamela Lalleman, L.C. Hobby, Bernice Brown, Nataline Hobbs, Hazel Runion, Loretta Duke and Sharon Brown.
Survivors are her husband, William Buckelew, Jr. of Hot Springs, two sons, Dean Franklin House (Carol) of Hot Springs and Eric Thomas Buckelew (Courtney) of Hot Springs, two daughters, Jennifer Graft (Charles) of Hot Springs and Virginia Howard of Texas, seventeen grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Marty Graft, Charles Graft, Amber Graft, Ashley Vaughn, Ben Howard, Cole Howard, Savanah Coley, Daniel Matthews, Audie House, JT Thomason, Hasia House, Coltrane Buckelew, Carmine Buckelew, Emeli Mae Buckelew, Anya Buckelew and Elizabeth Mims, and eleven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Neighbors Cemetery with Bro. John Clift officiating.
Pallbearers were Coltrane Buckelew, Carmine Buckelew, Billy Duke, Terry Brown, Dalton Brown, Dillan Brown and Carson Brown.
Honorary pallbearers were Glen Brown, Keith Brown, Jackson York and Edward York.
