The City of Arkadelphia issued 13 building permits with a total estimated construction value of $425,652 for the month of June 2025.
The year-to-date value of construction jobs in Arkadelphia now totals an estimated $3.73 million.
Records were obtained from the city’s Building Department under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act and include valuations of work except where omitted from reports. Here’s a rundown of permits issued in June 2025:
The Ohio-based Flynn Group ordered a de-identification of the former Pizza Hut restaurant at 1201 N. 10th St., hiring North Start Construction of Ozark, Missouri, to raze the cupola-style roof, repaint and remove equipment and furniture. Cost of the job was $40,000.
Arkadelphia resident River Melugin is having a new single-family home built at 210 S. 23rd St., hiring Measured Success LLC of Benton to erect the dwelling at a cost of $125,000.
Dustin Holmes, of Murfreesboro, put in a permit to install a commercial ice machine at 201 Robey St. No contractor was listed for the $90,000 job.
Corey Brown’s MCB Properties LLC filed for permits to re-roof leased commercial downtown properties at 628 Main St. (Knit Unto Others), 630 Main St. (My Favorite Things), 610 Main St. (Shuffield Music Co.), 612 Main St. (The Olde Rose Tattoo), and 716 Clinton St. (Young Forever). Hostetler Roofing was hired for the work, which comes with a total price tag of $84,000.
Farm Bureau Insurance, 2702 Caddo St., hired Keith’s Roofing of Hot Springs Village to re-roof the commercial building. Cost was $23,500.
Roger Wingfield filed a permit for a roofing job at a leased commercial property at 102 W.P. Malone Dr. (Verizon). No contractor is listed for the $9,500 job.
A permit for new signage was filed for 2749 Pine St. Suite C, office of Heather Powell – State Farm Insurance. Seiz Sign Co. of Little Rock was hired for the $2,500 job.
