Clark County real estate transactions recorded May 16-29, 2025, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.
The real estate change that brought the largest sum of money in the past two weeks was the $310,000 sale of a 2,676-SF brick home on Timber Ridge Circle. Kristin Kesterson, of Arkadelphia, bought the home from Roy and Barbara Allen, who paid $22,000 in a land-only sale in 2009. In turn, the Allens bought a 1,653-SF brick home at the 2600 block of Mockingbird Lane for $195,000. Signing off on the property was Tracy Mims, guardian of the Annetta and A. Garland Brackett (deceased) estate. The Allens bought the place in 1999 for $80,000.
For $220,000 Billy and Lori Groom, of Arkadelphia, bought a 1,648-SF frame siding home at the 2100 block of Highway 51 North, near Joan. The Grooms bought the 79-acre spread of mixed pasture and timber from the Wingfield Family Trust, with James and Mary Wingfield, of Mountain Home, signing as trustees.
In Curtis, Hunter and Whitney Jester sold a 1,200-SF frame siding home at the 4600 block of Highway 67 South for $169,000. Buyers are Marshawn Arnold and Naulaunie Scott, of Gurdon. The Jesters paid $98,000 for the property in 2021.
For $168,000 Jason Russell bought a 1,109-SF frame siding home at the 100 block of West Dodson Street, Caddo Valley. Selling the property was Robert Doster and Emily Massey, who paid $153,000 for the home in 2024.
Daniel and Carla Pitron, of Arkadelphia, are paying $150,000 for a 1,760-SF frame siding home and 8.85 acres at the 5000 block of Highway 8 West. Sellers were Richard and Sandra Brown. (Editor’s note: This entry was updated to include the sale price; thanks, LK.)
For $150,000 Jerrod Phillips, of Benton and d/b/a Homes by Jerrod LLC, bought a 1,776-SF brick home at the 600 block of North 13th Street, Arkadelphia. Former owners Ralph Duncan and Trina Bright, of Conway, bought the place in 1994 for $61,000.
In Gum Springs, a former Shell Superstop convenience store at 140 E. Reynolds Road sold for $148,000 to Sulaiman Hudda, of Little Rock. Former owner Christy Wilson, of Arkadelphia, bought the 3,000-SF station and 1.11 acres in 2016 for $50,000.
In a $108,350 exchange, David and Jamie Ward, of Okolona, sold 39.4 acres of mostly pasture off of Boswell Road, east of the Smyrna community, to CC Project SPV LLC, a Delaware company registered in Arkansas to Greg Adams, of Bentonville.
