Clark County Memorial Day ceremony set for Monday

The 2025 Memorial Day Celebration will be held Monday, May 26, at 11 a.m. at the Clark County Courthouse Gazebo, 419 Clay St., Arkadelphia.

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the Armory building.

Gregory Vardaman will emcee the event. Following a posting of the colors by the Arkadelphia High School JROTC, Rev. Louis Craig will deliver the invocation. Ashelynn Morris will lead the Pledge of Allegiance, and Karen Ware will sing the National Anthem.

Vardaman will give a roll call of local veterans who have died in the past year. County Judge Troy Tucker and Robert Davis will post the memorial wreath.

Brown Hardman will be the keynote speaker at this year’s ceremony. 

Veteran Services Officer Lon Ware will deliver final remarks and benediction.
