The Arkadelphia Promise Academic Signing Day for the Class of 2025 will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the Arkadelphia High School Gymnasium.
Seniors will celebrate their milestone accomplishment with family, friends and the community.
The ceremony will be followed by the senior walkout.
Since its inception 14 years ago, the scholarship program — one of only two such Promise programs in Arkansas — has paid more than $5 million for AHS graduates to attend post-secondary schools or universities across the U.S. To date, more than 700 AHS graduates have been recipients of Arkadelphia Promise scholarships.

Formed in 2010 with the Class of 2011 being the first to receive scholarships, the primary goal of the Arkadelphia Promise is to increase the college-going rate for local students, reduce the number of students dropping out of college for financial reasons, and provide for a more educated workforce.
