Gregory Dean “Greg” Funderburk, age 63, of Delight, passed from this life on Sunday April 20, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born on October 1, 1961, in Murfreesboro, the son of the late Billy Dean and Vema Pennington Funderburk.
Greg was a 1979 graduate of Delight High School. He worked in the logging industry for Ledbetter logging. Greg was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God in Delight. He enjoyed fishing and playing guitar in his free time.
Greg is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Denise Wallace, and one niece, Jessica Funderburk.
Survivors are one son, Daniel Watson (Amanda) of Arkadelphia, one brother, Stan Funderburk of Antione, one sister, Lisa Gatliff (Jim) of Delight, one step-brother, James Sweeney (Carla) of Delight, two grandchildren, Emma and Jax Watson and numerus nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday April 25, 2025, at Welch Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2025, at Antoine Cemetery with Bro. Doug McClure officiating.
Pallbearers are Kevin Price, James Kemp, Greg Wahl, Tony Campbell, Stan Funderburk, Anson Gross, Jim Gatliff and Daniel Watson.
