Real Estate: Arkadelphia daycare facility sells

Clark County real estate transactions recorded March 21 through April 3, 2025, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.

A daycare center at 1218 Walnut St., Arkadelphia, was sold in a $280,000 deal. Bright Beginnings Learning Center of Arkadelphia, Inc., sold the 5,400-SF facility to Travis Perez. Signing off on the deed was Bright Beginnings vice president Angela Blankenship. The property was bought in 1997 for $81,000.

Dollar-wise, the top real estate transaction in the past two weeks was the $550,000 sale of a 1,850-SF frame siding home at the 100 block of Hot Springs Drive, Caddo Valley. Jacob Beck and Kristen Relf, who bought the land only in 2022 for $118,000, sold the home and 31.68-acre spread to Jennifer Powell and Jesus Salas.

For $340,000 Jason and Rebecca Akin bought a 3,016-SF frame siding home at the 2500 block of Elaine Street, Arkadelphia. Sellers Rickey and Lydia Rogers picked the place up for $216,000 in 2019.

CWB Properties LLC, registered to Chad Bradford, sold a 1,403-SF brick home at the 900 block of East Joslyn Street, Gurdon, for $185,000. The buyer is Nybrea Hughes. CWB bought the property in September 2024 for $28,000.

A 1,706-SF brick home at the 100 block of Pinewood, Gurdon, sold for $146,500. Brady and Keri Weatherford bought the place from Marjorie Renfro Irrevocable Trust.

In Amity, Lewis Travis sold a 1,008-SF frame siding home at the 600 block of West Texas Street to Cole and Peyton Speer for $148,000.
