Richard “Dick” Harvey, age 90, of Arkadelphia passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 at his home. He was born March 4, 1935 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late Robert K. and Elsie (Conley) Harvey.
Dick was a gifted singer, drummer, trombone player, but loved singing hymns. He enjoyed making people laugh. Dick was a member of Sardis Primitive Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, three sisters, and two sons, Michael and Scott Harvey.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Jayne Harvey of Arkadelphia; daughter, Mardi Bonner (Vincent); son, Elder Gary Harvey (Becky); six grandsons; two granddaughters; and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday, March 17, 2025, at Macedonia Cemetery in Dalark with Elder Jesse Stripland officiating. Pallbearers were Kel Bonner, Quentin Bonner, Seth Harvey, Rick Jenkins, Vincent Bonner, and Ronnie Hughes. Honorary pallbearers were Gary Boyett, Marcus Harvey, Cameron Harvey, and John Harvey.
The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice for outstanding care for Dick. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sardis Primitive Baptist Church, 5476 Midway Road, Donaldson, Arkansas 71941.
