Judy Carole (West) Maxwell, age 80, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at her home. She was born May 3, 1944, in Vivian, LA, the daughter of the late Arthur Cecil and Ellen Elizabeth Pearson West.
Judy was a 1962 graduate of Dollarway High School. She was a certified diamontologist and a retired Wal-Mart associate. Judy was a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She enjoyed traveling and gardening in her free time.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Michael Dewain Maxwell, one brother, Artie West and one grandson, Dustin Toddy.
Survivors are two sons, Gregory Maxwell (Carmen) of Arkadelphia and Michael Maxwell, Jr of Huntsville, AL, one daughter, Misty Mazingo (Phillip) of Huntsville, AL, one sister, Jeri White of Pine Bluff, four grandchildren, Haley McCall, Emily Mazingo, Maya O’Rorke and Pyper Maxwell, one great-grandchild, Cason McCall.
The family will host a memorial service at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the pavillion in DeGray Cemetery.
